So, I did a bit more research on this dress. I found another set of tags hiding down the side seam. First of all, let's get this settled: I do have an authentic DVF dress.
The other side of the label confirms this.

My dress has the "helper" ribbon loops (for the hanger) just under the arm holes, and everything else looks tickety-boo, so I'm happy to report that this is NOT a fake.
